Carolina Panthers Devin Funchess hosts 2018 cooking competition and toy drive

Carolina Panthers Wide Receiver Devin Funchess partners with Clear Vision Marketing Group and the National Youth Foundation for the 2018 Cooking With Funchess Cooking competition and Toy Drive.

What a fantastic event! Details please!

The competition will be held on Friday, December 21st, 2018, from 6 pm – 10 pm at Project 658, located at 646 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205.

Cooking with Funchess will feature the opportunity to network while sampling four categories of local chef-prepared dishes. Attendees will also be engaged by activities, photos, an auction, autograph signings and a special Local Heroes Award presentation.

“It is a privilege to help bring joy to others. With the combined teamwork from the Charlotte community and the fans, we will without a doubt fulfill the holiday dreams of deserving kids and have fun cooking at the same time,” says Funchess.

Where can gift donations be dropped off?

Donations of new/unwrapped toys for boys and girls, infants to 18 years old, would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be dropped off during the cooking competition or prior to the event at Omega Sports—the Toy Drive will take place at 2pm on Saturday, December 22nd at Omega Sports, located at 4201 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209.

Who does Cooking with Funchess benefit?

Cooking with Funchess will benefit the National Youth Foundation (NYF), whose mission is dedicated to enriching the lives of children through creative educational programming and team building projects.
